TRAIL OF TEARS Extends Deal With NAPALM RECORDS
November 23, 2007Norway's TRAIL OF TEARS has extended its contract with Napalm Records.
The group's fifth album, "Existentia", was issued in January via Napalm. The CD was recorded at Soundsuite Studio in Marseille, France with producer Terje Refsnes and includes contributions from French female singer Emmanuelle Zoldan and Norwegian keyboard master Bernt Moen.
TRAIL OF TEARS will embark on a North American headlining tour in January/February 2008. Support on the trek will come from CELLADOR, ECHOES OF ETERNITY and UNEXPECT.
TRAIL OF TEARS was recently rejoined by vocalist Cathrine Paulsen, who sang on the group's 2002 album, "A New Dimension of Might".
TRAIL OF TEARS members Jonathan Perez (drums),Kjell Hagen (bass),Runar Hansen (guitar) and Kjetil Nordhus (vocals) announced on November 28, 2006 that they were leaving the group. Vocalist Ronny Thorsen has since vowed to carry on with new members.
